Monday 2/13/12.
Not a lot of excitement today. I spent much of the day sanding a spot on the inside of the bottom of the boat andinstalling the mounting base for a new depth sounder/fish finder transducer.  It’s designed to ‘shoot’ through the bottom of the boat without having to cut a hole. I hope it works.   Linda spent her day inventorying the provisions and making a list of what we will need for the trip home.  That’s kind of bitter-sweet.  While we are anxious to see family and friends, we have become kind of attached to the River District.  Linda says "I could live here every winter".  But we both know that ain't gonna happen.

Tuesday 2/14/12.
We had a nice warm valentine's day. We ran some errands. Then Linda suggested we go to Hooters for lunch.  She said my Valentines gift was being able to watch the cute young waitresses.  (Sorry guys, I didn’t have the camera along.) In the afternoon we walked the few blocks to down town and I finally got a Green Tea Frappuccino at Starbucks that Linda had been telling me about. We sat outside at a little cafe table on the brick side walk. It was a beautiful day. I thought it was pretty good. Linda was terribly disappointed in it because it was the worse one she ever had. I guess since it was the server’s first day on the job we'll chalk it up to that, but Linda said “I definitely won't be getting anymore while we’re here”. When we walked back to the boat we sat up on the flybridge watching the boats come and go at the fuel dock. We ordered in pizza and watched our three Tuesday night TV shows.
