We took a run to Cape Coral to pick up the motor parts. This place has grown so much, with roads going every which way; we decided maybe it would be helpful to have a GPS for the car. Cape Coral has canals next to most of the streets. Sometimes you will travel down a street only to find it dead ends at a canal. Wal-Mart was just about sold out of GPS units and what they had didn’t have the features we wanted. So we checked out West Marine. They carry quite a selection of nautical, hand held and automobile GPS. We decided on a Garmin and left the store to go back to the boat. When I opened the box there was one piece missing. Everything was in the box except the GPS! A quick trip back to West Marine and they realized they gave me the box for the display model. It was the only one they had left. They plugged it in and everything worked great so I agreed to take it. Then it was time to pick up some groceries. So for the most part it was just a day of running around.

Wednesday 2/1/12.
